That reason being ONLY to facilitate the process which you are participating in, i.e. information used to relay cards, send the optionally subscribed notices when someone replies to your post in the forum, etc. We DO NOT and WILL NOT EVER put you on a mailing list without your consent, nor do we relay your e-mail address or other information you submit to ANYONE for ANY REASON, period.
